Porcelain Veneers
Have you found yourself wishing that you could improve your smile? Maybe you have small imperfections like gaps or chips that you’d like to correct. Or perhaps you’ve tried professional whitening but haven’t gotten the results you were hoping for. At Williamsville Family Dentistry, we have another cosmetic dentistry option that we think you’ll love – porcelain veneers. Veneers can transform your smile in subtle or dramatic ways. Practically whatever you can dream up for your smile, veneers can help you achieve it.
What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin casings that can be used to alter the appearance and functionality of your smile. Whether you’re looking to fill gaps or brighten the appearance of your smile, porcelain veneers can be modified to fit your smile and your needs.
How are Veneers Made?
Porcelain veneers are made from impressions and X-rays of your mouth. This allows us to create veneers that match the size and shape of your teeth. We use porcelain veneers at Williamsville Family Dentistry, which are more resistant to stains and look more natural than composite veneers. After your veneers are made, we’ll fit them to your teeth as closely as possible. After they’ve been trimmed and fit perfectly, we’ll bond them to your tooth.
Caring for dental veneers is easy, too. Just brush and floss like you normally would – it really is that easy! As long as you keep up with your normal oral hygiene routine of brushing for at least two minutes twice a day and flossing regularly, your veneers will stay healthy and look great.
Do I Need Dental Veneers?
Veneers are used to improve the appearance of your teeth from a wide variety of imperfections. They are durable and fairly quick to place, making them an affordable and long-lasting cosmetic treatment. Dr. Kevin and Dr. Monie can use veneers for a variety of reasons, including:
- Build up worn-down teeth
- Fix broken teeth
- Straighten minor crookedness or misalignment
- Close small gaps
- Whiten discoloration due to tetracycline or old dental work
How Much Do Dental Veneers Cost?
The cost of your veneers procedure will depend on what you’re hoping to change about your smile. We’ll be able to give you a better estimate when you come in for a consultation. But if you’re concerned about the cost, don’t worry! We have flexible financial options to help you get the smile of your dreams. Since most insurance plans don’t cover cosmetic treatments, we accept CareCredit patient financing, which works like a credit card for your healthcare needs. We also have an in-house membership plan. For one annual fee, you’ll receive a 25% discount off most dental services, including cosmetic work.
